Let's say I wanted a car for an indeterminate amount of time, but about 4-6 weeks. Obviously doing a regular rental at Discount or other car-rental place would be atrociously expensive. What are my options?

I've posted an ad in the ride share section of CraigsList, and I've gotten about five or six responses from people who'd be interested in sharing a rental with me. I'm due to take the road test for my driver's license on the 18th, unfortunately I found out I won't be able to use the family car.

I'll be at the Hymus office, and while the SAAQ states they do not rent cars, someone told me there is a rental office there. Does anyone know the company name or a number I can call to reserve?!

I need to rent a car this weekend and I have quotes from a couple companys. The problem is they are charging an extra $30 or $40 because I am under 25 (22).

Does anyone know of a company that doesn't do this and will rent me a car at a decent rate?
